The Best Meeting of the Year! The Hawkins Society 2025 meeting was held from April 27th-April 30th at the Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head, SC. 33 presentations were given over 3 days of academics, all on the topic of shoulder diagnosis and treatment. With 70 Hawkins trained physicians, their families, and industry supporters in attendance.
43 Clemson University students were selected following an application process to take part in the April ROPES externship. ROPES is a partnership between Arthrex and Clemson University. It was proctored by physicians from the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and hosted in the Hawkins Foundation Surgical Innovation Laboratory.
Congratulations to Dr. Kissenberth for being named to the Top 5% of Shoulder & Elbow Research All-Stars for 2024! This honor is a recognition of the quality and quantity of the Shoulder & Elbow research he authored and published during 2021 and 2022. His inclusion in the list indicates that he is among the top shoulder & elbow surgeons publishing leading-edge research.
